No, not at all, fully clean the tank every 2 weeks. Fresh water should be available at all times. Feed juveniles daily, and adults 2 - 3 times a week.

 

Does it get stinky

No, as long as you clean tank every 2 weeks

  • They are also known as Argentine Horned frogs

  • They are the only frogs with teeth

  • They can live up to 15 years in captivity

 

Useful tips

  • In the day keep temperature 75 - 85 degrees F, at night keep it keep it 65 - 75 degrees F

  • Keep juveniles substrate 1 inch deep and adult substrate 2 to 3 inches deep

  • When it is warmer feed them more

  • Not a good pet if you’re looking for an active amphibian
